Hi there! My name is Heath Garvin, though online I usually go by the screen name MinoDab492.
This site is where I’ll be sharing my projects, experiments, and thoughts, all collected under the MinoDab Productions label.

About Me

I've been building and experimenting with creative projects for around five years now. I released my first piece of public media about three years ago (though it has since been taken down), and since then I've been steadily working to grow both my skills, and the scope of my projects.

What You'll Find Here

On this site, you can expect me to post about

• Game development experiments (tools, frameworks, ideas, experiments, etc.)
• Film and storytelling ideas (concepts, scripts, etc.)
• Software projects (apps, bots, AI tools, and web experiments)
• Personal thoughts and updates about things as I go

Sometimes posts will focus more on the creative aspects of things, sometimes on the more technical, but my hope is that it'll still always remain interesting to read!

Why I'm Doing This

For me, this siite serves a dual purpose. It's not just a portfolio, but it's also a journal. A place to look back at my progress, and to be able to see, and share, what I've learned through many years of work.

My Goals

I'm always experimenting, and always moving forwards towards something. Some of the bigger goals I'm working towards are:

• Career: My goal is to start a career working at Dolby. I think it'd be a fun place to work with plenty of opportunity for growth, and I'm excited to work towards this!
• Stories: I've been writing Chronicles of the Nexus for about 7 months now with the help of one of my friends. CotN is a screenplay that I someday hope to turn into a proper movie.
• Growth: I intend to stay consistent, to continue learning, and to push myself more with each project I begin.

This site is part of the process for these, as a place to track what I've done, what I've learned, where I want to go next.
